I went to Iceland in 2005 and still long to return there. There is so much folklore and research I’d love to do on that country. Being that it was a stopover on my way home from Scotland and the airlines was running a special with the Blue Lagoon, I only had a small amount of time to take in this luxurious experience.
This is a photo I took of the Blue Lagoon, which is a geothermal spa. I’ll tell you that I was in some pain when I went there and the waters melted it away. You do have to be careful of the sun. I used sunblock on the part of me that would be above the water. I made sure to put up my hair. I was told in advance that the water can really frizz your hair. I loved their conditioner. When I’m in that part of the world again, Iceland is at the top of my list. I want to see the Northern Lights. What would you want to see?
