For those you wanted it back, the book has returned albeit in Kindle first. For those who haven’t met David and Laura yet, I hope you enjoy it. For those who met them in Vampire King of New York, here is the book from the series Vampires in Manhattan that tells that strange and wonderful and somewhat weird…ok very weird and stormy love story. I’ve been told that it’s also heroic and extremely romantic.
“Who told you that?”
I turn around to see Vampire David Hilliard walk into the room. Tall, dark and handsome smiles at me with fangs showing and takes a seat by my elbow.
“So Lily.” (He always call me Lily.) “It’s done and going back out to people?”
“The Stormy Love Life of Laura Cordelais has been re-released in Amazon Kindle” at

“It’s here first. It will be in Nook and the other formats shortly.”
David smiles. “The part I like best is when I rescue Laura. She is amazing for someone so tortured. What we go through is gut wrenching?”
“What was scariest for you?”
David laughs. “Lily, I’m a vampire. I don’t get scared.”
“Liar, liar, pants on fire.” Laura walks in and sits on his lap. “I heard you were pretty scared when I died and wouldn’t wake up.”
“I don’t like talking about that, my darling.” David looks toward the door and a moment later the Vampire King of New York, Max Vander Meer walks through.
“Lily, don’t forget to tell everyone the giveaways you’re doing over at The Romance Studio too. http://trsparties.com/2013/10/30/the-stormy-love-life-of-laura-cordelais-excerpt-1/ and there’s another post about me and there will be more tomorrow.”
“Thank you, Max.”
He tosses me a little crystal vial with a stopper. “And don’t forget to use that if you feel ill while at Philcon. You are important us, and we appreciate you chronicling our history. What’s up next?”
“In a few weeks, A Vampire for Christmas will be released. I’m also working on a book for Noblesse.”
Max asks, “You have found someone for my daughter. Who is it?”
“Yikes, Max. I just can’t tell you. You have to wait like everyone else to find out.”
David says, “Now for the contest, one lucky commenter who says, “I love David, ” in the comment box will win a Kindle ebook of The Stormy Love Life of Laura Cordelais. The contest ends at noon Eastern Time on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 and is void where prohibited by law. Good luck, everyone.

Does it matter what order you read your stories?
You know, Mary, at one time I thought it did, but now I realize that it really doesn’t. If you’ve read Vampire King of New York first, The Stormy Love Life of Laura Cordelais will give you an insider look at the vampire Max calls his son.
