But you say, “Hey wait a minute. Today is Friday.”
And I say, “Exactly.”
Why? Well, Thursday’s are my Friday’s at my day job. Now for three glorious days I’ll be writing and one day I’ll be at a writing conference. One of the best in the Northeast. It’s Fiction Fest and this year it’s in the lovely town of Mystic Seaport. Oh, did I mention that Roxanne St. Claire is the keynote speaker. She is not only an awesome writer, but a great person too. I can’t wait.
The weather is supposed to hold out. We’ll see.
Time to plan weekend goals.
My goals this weekend. Enjoy the conference and the other writers who will attend.
My biggest goal though is to finish Mated for Life, the third book in the Jake Carrington Series. I’m 92, 000 words into it and I’m loving it. I hope you do to when it’s released.
I’m having lunch with a good friend, then off to visit my nephew who is recovering from a motorcycle accident. Thank God, he’s doing good.
Another goal is to get to the beach and enjoy the fleeting summer days here in New England.
And I guess I should throw some chores in there too for good measure. In fact, I’ll be making room for the print copy of If I Fail, A Jake Carrington Mystery. I’ve been anticipating this event all summer.
What are your plans for this coming weekend? Whatever they are enjoy them and have a safe weekend.
